Metal-plastic, light-weight gas cylinders
Metal-plastic, light-weight gas cylinders of high pressure for
transport vehicles are intended for storage and transportation
of compressed natural gas (CNG). They can be installed in luggage
compartments of motor cars and in special places of trucks, buses and
agricultural equipment using compressed natural gas methane as motor
fuel.
- The cylinder ensure:
- — number of fillings — not less than 24000 at operating pressure of 20 MPа;
- — fragments-free destruction at the pressure of not less than 52 MPa.
- Technical Characteristics:
- — operating pressure 20 MPa;
- — coefficient of strength reserve 2.6;
- — coefficient of mass perfection (М/V), not over 0.7 kg/l;
- — service life, not less than 15 years;
- — examination periodicity — 5 years;
- — maintenance conditions — from -40 °С to +60 °С
